At the Panacea we boast a 17 metre heated pool and relaxation facilities the Poolside area is a very popular part of the club. Whether you are a keen swimmer or just want to unwind after a long day we have something for every member to enjoy as part of the experience here at the Panacea.
Swimming Lessons
We are pleased to be able to offer high calibre swim lessons in club with our Swim Team headed up by the Ex Team GB Olympic Athlete Tom Haffield and his swim academy.
Lessons are available to members and non members.

Our peaceful and often tranquil pool allows all learners to progress at their own rate.

Meet our coaches
Tom
Experience: Level 2 qualified swim teacher and coach. Former international swimmer, having competed at 3 Commonwealth Games, 2 World Championships and the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games for Team GB.
Favourite stroke: Backstroke
Hobbies: Eating and travelling
Louise
Experience : Level 2 Swim teacher – trained with the Becky Adlington Training Academy.
I swim for myself and own fitness twice a week and train with Newport Triathlon Club.
I have a love/hate relationship with open water swimming.
Favourite stroke : To swim - Front crawl
To Teach - Backstroke
Hobbies : Running, swimming, cycling, SUP, Kayaking, parkrun, volunteering junior parkrun & junior Triclub, drinking coffee & walking my dog .

Price per 30 minute lesson Members Non - Members

Private lessons can be paid in full or half the term
Private lessons price still £35 per lesson if shared
E.G. 2 siblings sharing a lesson together

Cancellations Policy
Group lessons are paid in advance and non attendance does not adjust the price.
Should the club cancel a lesson this will be refunded or given as credit .
Private lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours notice charged in full.
Only 2 Private lessons can be cancelled per term.
